I am an Assistant Professor in Accounting at Texas State University. I received my Ph.D. from Boston College in 2024.
My research focuses on corporate governance and executive compensation, with particular emphasis on share pledging practices and shareholder engagement. I study how executives and shareholders interact through voting, engagement, and compensation mechanisms.
Beyond research, I develop open source software in Julia for empirical accounting and finance research, enjoy running and watching sports.
